This policy explains what happens to the information you give this website. In short: we collect what is needed to pass your enquiry to up to 3 garden room builders, we only do that with your consent, and we do not sell your data to advertisers.
Who we are
This website is Garden Room Prices, an independent UK garden room price guide at gardenroomprices.co.uk. We are not a builder and do not carry out building work. For anything about your data, email hello@gardenroomprices.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address and postcode, plus your answers about the room (use, rough size, budget and timeframe) and the fact that you ticked the consent box. We also receive your IP address, browser type, the page you sent the form from, the country the request came from and, if you arrived from an advert, the advert's click reference. We use these to spot spam and to measure which adverts work.
Who we share it with, and why
With your consent, we pass your enquiry to no more than 3 garden room builders who cover your postcode, so they can contact you by phone or email about a quote. Each builder then handles your details under its own privacy policy. We do not pass your details to anyone else for marketing, and we do not sell them.
Our legal basis
We share your enquiry with builders on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; that stops any further sharing, but cannot undo sharing that has already happened.
Where it is processed
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Form submissions are delivered to a private messaging channel and an email inbox that only we can read. Cloudflare may log standard request data for security and performance.
Analytics and advertising
We count visits with a self-hosted Umami instance, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. When we run Google Ads, the site also loads the Google Ads tag so we can tell which adverts lead to enquiries. It only sets Google cookies if you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you press Reject, no Google cookies are set, but Google may still receive basic cookieless signals (for example, that an enquiry was sent from an advert click), which it uses to estimate results without identifying you. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months so we can deal with follow-up questions, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, and object to how we use it. Email hello@gardenroomprices.co.uk and we will act on it. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Every price published here comes from a named third-party UK source. They are indicative ranges, not quotes or offers, and we are not responsible for what a builder quotes you.
